New to the Westside?

The Westside of L.A. is truly a unique and amazing land. Different from L.A. proper in demographics, diversity, and spiritual dynamics, the Westside offers more than we could ever embrace... a great place to be! But we know, too, that the spiritual climate of our area ranges from confusing to chaotic. And that finding real, authentic friendships and healthy community is not only difficult, it's rare.  We passionately believe, though, that spiritual community can not only be discovered and cultivated here.... it can actually be realized. The spiritual confusion that exists can be clarified, and many have found the Vineyard and our community of younger adults to be the community they've been longing for in L.A.   While it's super-common to 'float' around  in these years... doing life alone and 'waiting' to embrace what your heart is desiring.... it's our hope that you'll hear our invitation to come and join us as we find 'home' together.

 

New to the "Church"?

We know that there are many questions that accompany exploring a spiritual community. As people who are aspiring to follow The Way of Jesus together, we're discovering the reality of God's reign of love and leadership in our lives.  We invite you to join us.  We hope you find the Vineyard to be a community where you can connect with God and others… as well as an environment where you can ask questions, voice doubts, share experiences, and be challenged and encouraged as you grow in the knowledge of God and experience of seeking Jesus.

If you're considering visiting this weekend, great!  If you have a chance, please be sure to stop by and introduce yourself to one of the pastors or a leader at the Community Table in the lobby.

 

WELCOME!
Altær is an alternative evening worship gathering led by younger adults of the Westside Vineyard Christian Fellowship (West Los Angeles).  We gather on Sunday nights @ 6:07pm and at various times and locations throughout the week in Home Church gatherings.  We aspire to follow Jesus together. While not strictly 'for' any particular age, it is led by younger adults of the Vineyard, and the leadership team shares a defining call and commitment of both reaching and empowering the youngest emerging lives and leaders (i.e. those 18-25).  Whether you're new to the Westside, new to the idea of 'church', just exploring, or looking to come home, we're thankful that our paths are crossing.

LINK
We invite you to join us for LINK immediately following our gathering (in the Courtyard) on the first Sunday of each month.  LINK is a brief opportunity to find out more about the Vineyard and meet one of our pastors.

WELCOME DINNER
If you're new to Altær... or if you've been coming but haven't yet connected, we hope you'll join us for one of our Welcome Dinners.  These informal dinners are great opportunities to take a step forward.

GETTING PLANTED
It's really hard to grow if you're not planted..... and so we invited anyone who is desiring to explore or establish greater commitment to the Westside Vineyard to attend our Vineyard Getting Planted Class.

SERVE- grow community not consumerism
