When I think of Altaer, I think of honesty and authenticity.  I think of people getting to know each other and getting to know God in a deeply authentic and significant way.  It's a beautiful thing!!

I come to altaer because the teaching demands transformation (hence the name) into Christ's likeness, prayer is valued and practiced, and the Holy Spirit is welcomed in all his ministries and gifts.  In this kind of environment, Christian community that is rooted in Christ's love can grow.  It can also wither or be choked - because people, thats us, are involved.  That's one reason why we pray, study the Word, let ourselves be transformed, and put our faith in God.
